A potent tincture is made from four main ingredients, the fruiting bodies of the medicinal mushrooms and root of ashwagandha. These materials are soaked in 95% grain alcohol for 6 weeks and then pressed to extract triterpenes, sterols, and lignans. Then, a hot water extract is made for a minimum of 6 hours to extract polysaccharides such as beta-glucans.
